Curtain – 12 gauge 4” face flat Steel slat with SpectraShield® powder coat in gray.
Guides – Steel with powder coating to match the curtain.
Bottom Bar – 12 gauge 4” face steel bottom bar with powder coat to match the curtain.

- Patent-pending windlocks. These doors come with windlock bars that run alongside the guides. Each slat is modified to rest in the windlock bar for added stability in severe storms and high-pressure events.
- Safety alarms. When the shutters need to close, the StormDefender® triggers a strobe light and audible horn. The combined alarms work to ensure everyone has a chance to clear the area and move to safety.
- Attractive hoods. StormDefender® doors stay out of sight when stored by coiling into galvanized steel hoods for protection. We color match all hoods to your custom door color for an aesthetically pleasing package.
- Durable construction. The shutter curtain and bottom bar feature high-quality 12-gauge steel. Our SpectraShield® powder coating in a gray finish protects the doors from damage.
- Reliable motors. Our exclusive AlarmGard™ rolling door motors offer the option for connection to an alarm system. You can also default to the closed position in the event of a power failure using optional battery backup power.
