Maximum protection for your most severe needs.
Maximum Security Door System
To address requests for advanced security closure solutions that have come directly to us due to recent events of riots and vandalism to storefronts around the country, Cornell has developed the maximum security door system. Engineering our most secure and strongest rolling doors ever, every steel security door is custom manufactured to meet the specific security needs of each installation need.
With riots, vandalism, looting and business damage becoming a regular news topic, the need to help protect buildings and business from loss of life, employee or customer safety and property damage has escalated greatly. To meet this growing demand, Cornell has developed the Maximum Security Door System.
Many building owners may not realize that a rolling steel door or grille in front of a glass storefront will provide the safety and security needed. Or think about converting their dock door from a sectional to a rolling steel door as a rolling steel door provides a higher level of security.
Maximum security doors provide immediate protection in the face of danger by automatically closing. This can be achieved by installing a panic button in a prominent, easy to access location, like a front desk, for example, connecting the maximum overhead security doors to an existing alarm system, or activated by a remote or central location. Activating a lockdown will automatically close the doors.
Steel security doors do not mean a huge eyesore. We can accommodate storefronts concerned with the building aesthetics by offering a variety of finishes, such as steel, aluminum or stainless steel with hundreds of color choices and finishes. Security doors can incorporate corporate logos, custom graphics or full-color images. Roll up security doors can be designed with multiple custom trim and cover packages.
Cornell’s max security doors have already become the first choice of leading big box stores, high tech companies, schools and government facilities.
Here is what one store's facilities manager said about the protection Cornell’s Maximum Security Door System provided:
"We were concerned about the security of our stores in and around Ferguson, MO - there had been reports of civil unrest in the area, which was expected to continue. We contacted our rep at Cornell for advice. He not only provided us with a solid and secure rolling steel door; but also worked with the factory to meet our really tight timeline - Cornell manufactured and installed the doors within a week.
There were several nights of heavy violence, and other stores around ours were severely damaged and looted - some to the point of not being able to reopen in the future. Our locations were not broken into and did not sustain any damage during the riots. The Cornell Security Doors provided us the security we needed at a crucial time. Not only did Cornell provide the security doors to meet our safety needs, but accomplished it all within a seemingly impossible time frame."
