INTELLIGENT EMERGENCY RESPONSE ROLLING DOOR

Our CrossingGard® Door with ThreatProtect™ takes your building’s security to the next level. Not every emergency response closure is the equal, that’s why we’ve built our door to integrate with your existing alarm systems. When your alarm signals a lockdown event or procedure, the door closes securely to zone your building. In other emergencies, the door opens to give evacuees an escape route.

Rolling steel and insulated doors feature solid galvanized steel curtains, preventing visual and physical access and is also available with a perforated curtain to provide first responders visibility. The CrossingGard® with ThreatProtect™ door comes standard with a UL 325-compliant safety edge, battery backup, and key override.

These egress doors are a smart solution for schools, higher education institutions, and medical facilities for both interior and exterior applications. Be prepared for anything - Safeguard your building with rolling doors that are ready when you need them most.

Standard Materials & Finishes

The CrossingGard Door with ThreatProtect comes standard with a steel counter-balance shaft and structural steel guides with powder coating to match curtain

Curtains are Galvanized steel with GalvaNex polyester enamel finish in Gray, Tan, White or Brown.

The bottom bar comes standard heavy-duty extruded aluminum in mill finish.

Operation

The specialized ThreatProtect Operator features a battery backup that ensures the door will continue to operate in the event of a power outage.

This door also comes standard with a UL325 compliant sensing edge that prevents the door from closing on an object.

Sensing Edge

Smoother Installation and easy maintenance: Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille. This ensures a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The new sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance.

Edges are tested and listed to UL 10B as a component of the rolling steel fire door assembly.

Omni Powder Coat

Omni Powder Coat now allows you to match your rolling steel doors with select Clopay sectional doors to create a unified and refined style.
