Featuring an innovative CPVC backer and premium insulation, it boasts an independently verified assembly U-factor of 0.532—offering the market’s most precise thermal defense. Combined with patented perimeter seals and thermally broken guides, it minimizes heat transfer, drastically lowers utility costs, and easily meets 2021 IECC^®, ASHRAE^® 90.1, and California Title 24 standards. This elite model also provides outstanding acoustic insulation (up to 27 STC) and can be configured to withstand a 20 PSF operational wind load.

Technical Notes

Acoustic Testing: All configurations are evaluated per ASTM E90, based on testing a complete, operable assembly.

Performance Variations: Added options (such as vision windows or pass doors) may impact final U-factor and STC performance. Contact the factory for details on specific configurations.

Usage

These doors are constructed for daily use and can withstand operation of up to 20 cycles per day – that’s 50,000 cycles for the lifetime of the door.

If your requirements call for more than 20 cycles per day, high cycle construction is available.

Available Operators

Our doors can open by motor, chain, hand-crank, or push-up operation, depending on size, weight and/or frequency of operation.

Model MG – A medium duty operator for doors that will cycle less than 20 times per day

Model SG – A super duty, full logic operator for larger doors or doors that may periodically cycle more than 20 times per day

EverGard - features a battery backup system that will last a minimum of 48 hours after power loss. This allows users to operate the door in the same manner as when there is AC power for up to 10 cycles.

NEMA 7/9 - Multiple sensing device and intrinsically safe board

NEMA 4/12 & NEMA4X - Waterproof SGH operator, suitable for low pressure direct spray.

Sensing Edge - Entrapment Protection Device

Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille ensuring a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance. With flexible 1" sealing fins, our sensing edges provide maximum protection while withstanding the elements.
