The Extreme^® 300 Series High Performance Grille is engineered for high-traffic openings. Parking garages, airports, and transportation hubs benefit from the grille's accelerated performance, operating up to 3X faster than other standard overhead coiling grilles. With 300,000 open and close cycles, and opening speeds of 24" per second and closing speeds at at 12" per second, it matches your productivity, smoothing traffic flow and reducing downtime.

Featuring a compact, direct-drive operator with a variable frequency drive, smooth starts and stops reducing wear and tear on the system. It accepts virtually all security activation systems and features a 2-year or 300,000-cycle warranty.

Standard Materials and Finishes

The 300 Series Grille open air design provides increased visibility and ventilation. Curtains are assembled with heavy duty 5/16” diameter aluminum alloy rods spaced at 2” on the center with aluminum tube spacers specifically placed to create two pattern options:

Extreme® Series Door Drive & Control System

This door features our first intelligent control panel - the APEX Pro SmartController™. It features:

Plug-and-play connections between the motor, control panel, and standard sensors
LCD screen that walks user through:
- Initial door commissioning
- Electrically set limits
- Status and error messages
- Many common door adjustments

This door also comes with a compact direct drive operator with no roller chains or sprockets and an internal inertia brake for safety.

Smoother Installation and easy maintenance: Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille. Entrapment Protection Devices

Entrapment protection devices ensure that a motorized door or grille will not close on an object. If an object enters path of closure, the entrapment protection device will stop the door or grille from closing and return it to the fully open position.

Monitored Protection, Even at High Speeds

UL 325-2010 (NEMA 4X) compliant photo eye sensors allow for momentary contact operation – useful in parking garages and other high use openings. Interruption of the photo eye beam before the door fully closes causes the door to immediately halt downward travel and reverse direction to return to the fully open position.

SafetyGard Light Curtain Technology

The 6’ tall light curtain is installed within the guide and blends into the guide construction. If the grille is cycling and an object passes through the curtain beams the door will immediately halt downward travel and reverse direction to return to the open position.
