Clopay ® Corporation’s new Corrosion Resistant Service and Insulated Doors are a version of their standard rolling doors, but designed to prevent oxidation and red rust. The product line—available in both Cornell and Cookson brands—is a solution for harsh commercial and industrial applications like water treatment plants, chemical storage facilities, and coastal and marine environments.
Nicole Vivalda, Senior Product Manager for Clopay® Corporation, talked about the product line in a recent post by American Security Today, “Our new Corrosion Resistant Service and Insulated Doors help address ongoing needs to modernize wastewater and stormwater facilities throughout the country.”
Vivalda also pointed out that funding is available through the 2022 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds (SRFs) to upgrade these facilities, including service doors.
The corrosion-resistant doors are powered by a NEMA 4X operator and have zirconium-coated parts. Its curtain and guides come in stainless steel with a #4 finish or clear anodized aluminum up to 15’x 15’. Stainless steel doors have an optional wind load of up to 40 PSF.
