M100 FireGard™ Electric Motor Operated Systems
Model FS, cULus listed, FM approved M100 system operator; part of a reliable, slow closing fire door system that never needs to be mechanically reset and features easy system testing at the floor level. Open drip-proof motor, removable without affecting setting of limit switches. Centrifugal governor. UL listed thermal overload protection. Solenoid brake. Planetary gearing capable of being driven backwards or forwards. Rotary limit switches. Transformer with 24 volt control secondary. All integral components pre wired to terminal block. Automatic closure activated by fusible link or central smoke / fire alarm system. Doors do not require a releasing device when activated by alarm signal. Doors shall be fail-safe and close upon power failure. Resetting of spring tension or mechanical dropouts is not required. Upon restoration of power, replacement of the fusible link or clearing of the alarm signal, doors shall immediately reset by opening with the push button.

M100 FireGard™ Chain or Crank Operated Systems
Manual M100 system operators; part of a reliable, slow closing fire door system that never needs to be mechanically reset and features easy system testing and resetting. Integral to the unit is a locking mechanism to hold the door at any position of travel during normal door operation mode and a governor to control automatic closing speed of not more than 9” per second. Power wiring to the opening is not required. Fuselink activation standard. Alarm activated with use of a fail-safe release device. Resetting of spring tension or mechanical dropouts shall not be required.

Recommended for fire doors that do not require the daily operation convenience of a motor operator and that will have the required access to the hand chain or crank operator.  Readily available for use on 24/24 Firemiser doors up to 15’ W x 11’ H. Doors to 30’ W available at lower heights; doors to 15’ H available at narrower widths - Consult factory for availability! M100 Crank is not available for units above 12’ H. M100 Chain recommended for units with exposed guides and for Firemiser doors in excess of 12’ tall. M100 Crank units recommended for finished or recessed applications. Chain or crank operation is not recommended for doors that will be used frequently.
